Musical instruments needed

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District’s (FUESD) band program has grown tremendously since last year. The program now has approximately 700 students, fourth through eighth grade, who have expressed a desire to learn how to play a band instrument. Unfortunately, the district doesn’t currently have enough instruments.

“We would like to encourage everyone to clean out their attics, closets and garages and donate any band instruments they find,” said FUESD band program director Kasey Jonesrebandt. “We’re looking for flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, French horns and trombones.”

Questions may be directed to Craig Cox at (760) 731-4216 or [email protected]. Instrument donations may be dropped off at Live Oak Elementary, La Paloma Elementary or Potter Jr. High.
