Four finalists named to build new library

The four design/build team finalists to build Fallbrook’s new library have been announced by San Diego County officials. They are C.W. Driver/Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects, EDGE Development/JCJ Architecture, PCL Construction Services/Harley Ellis Devereaux Architect and T.B. Penick & Sons, Inc./Jeff Katz Architecture.

Ron Miller, retired architect and a member of the Friends of the Fallbrook Library Building Task Force, said, “They are all well-respected contractors and architects and we are pleased they are interested in our project.”

In the months ahead, each team will prepare a schematic mass model of their proposed plan. The four models will be on view in Fallbrook’s library, at which time residents will have an opportunity for input.
