Woman's Club offers volunteerism, personal fulfillment

BONSALL — Bonsall Woman’s Club (BWC) will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, at San Luis Rey Downs Country Club, 31474 Golf Club Drive.

Between its general meeting and luncheon, the program will be “Come See What We’re All About.” It will focus on what BWC has to offer prospective members who live in Bonsall and adjacent communities and who are interested in community volunteerism and making new friends.

Chairmen will have colorful displays of their projects and will be delighted to discuss each section with visitors. These include involvement in the arts, conservation, education, home life and international and public affairs.

The club also seeks to promote members’ individual interests with the opportunity to participate in an antiques study group, a chorus, beginning and intermediate bridge, creative writing, a book club, an arts festival and a monthly fun activity.

BWC’s “Magic of Christmas Tea” is the largest fundraiser in which all members participate. It benefits the Boys & Girls Club, college scholarships and local charities.

The luncheon is $12. Call Cindy at (760) 723-1962 for reservations by September 28. Visit http://www.bonsallwomansclub.org.
