Library offers computer skills class

Library computer skills classes are ongoing at Fallbrook Library. On Thursday, October 9, “Library Computer Skills 101” will be offered from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

This class is for library patrons who are just learning to use a computer and would like help navigating the library’s electronic card catalog and word processing computers.

It will focus on the basic tasks of using the mouse to click, select and highlight. It will help them identify tool bars and scroll bars so that they can move around on a screen. Ways to move backward and forward on the computer will be covered.

Additional classes include “How to Set Up a Free E-mail Account” on Thursday, October 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and “Quick and Simple Résumé Formatting” on Tuesday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
