Chahbazians celebrate 50 years together

Chah and Barbara Chahbazian recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with 130 guests at their home in Fallbrook.

Professional photos were taken of all the guests and there was a table of 1958 memorabilia, along with two beautiful scrapbooks. A magician entertained everyone while they sampled Armenian hors d’oeuvres and special drinks.

A formal Armenian dinner followed, with a champagne toast and program. Chah sang “La Vie en Rose,” while Barb played her violin. Barb performed some Brahms music with three friends. Some local friends mounted the stage and sang a clever ditty about Barb and Chah, written by Cheryl Zales and Judy Barnett.

Several guests spoke about the guests of honor and the three adult Chahbazian children then presented a “roast” of their parents, which everyone enjoyed. The granddaughters began an Armenian circle-dance, which was joined by the entire extended family.
