Seniors have variety of trips to sign up for

FALLBROOK — Area seniors have exciting new opportunities for travel. The first is to the Palm Springs Follies on October 28. There are still a few seats available.

The next trip is to Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage near Palm Springs on November 10. The bus will leave the center at 8 a.m. and leave the casino for home at 3 p.m. They need 47 people for this trip.

A trip to Whiskey Pete’s is planned for December 1-3. This is a real bargain at only $60 single and $50 per person double occupancy and includes deluxe A/C bus, room for two nights, free buffet, Tuesday trip to Lake Mead with lunch and side trip to Las Vegas. Cost includes driver’s tip, bottle of water, bingo with prizes, snack, movies and jokes. The bus will leave the center at 9 a.m., make a rest stop at Barstow at 11 and arrive at the casino around 3 p.m. They need 40 or more seniors to sign up.

Their first Christmas trip, “Traditions of Christmas,” is to El Cajon and performed by the East County Performing Arts. Reserved seating is available for 45 people. This is a great family opportunity, as children are welcome to this show. Lunch is included. They will leave the center at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, December 14, and arrive back at 5 p.m.
