Go online to check voter registration information

SAN DIEGO — The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters is encouraging people to use the department’s easy online tool at http://www.sdvote.com to check registration information.

“We are expecting a large turnout in the November 4 election and we want to make sure voters have verified their registration information to make sure Election Day goes smoothly for everyone,” said Registrar Deborah Seiler.

The tool is available in English, Filipino, Spanish and Vietnamese. It can also be used by those who vote by mail to find out when their ballots are received by the Registrar’s office.

In addition, voters can access their sample ballot online.

To change registration information, fill out a form available on the Web site as well as the Registrar of Voters office, all US Post Offices, public libraries and the Department of Motor Vehicles offices.

All forms must be postmarked or delivered to the Registrar of Voters no later than midnight on October 20.

Voters should also be aware that, unlike the Direct Primary Election in June, voters in this election will be able to cast their ballots for candidates of any political party.

For more information about the election, visit http://www.sdvote.com or call (858) 565-5800.
