Please come to crime prevention meeting

Fallbrook Citizens’ Crime Prevention Committee is sponsoring a public crime prevention meeting on Tuesday, October 28, at Zion Lutheran Church auditorium, 1405 East Fallbrook Street, 7 to 9 p.m.

An informative presentation by Sgt. Joe Montion, patrol supervisor of the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation, will help us recognize the local street gangs/criminals that could be hanging out in our neighborhood. He will update us about the latest types of crimes they’re committing.

Sgt. Montion is a well seasoned gang detective who got promoted to sergeant due to his skillful pursuit and successful arrest of local gang leaders/drug traffickers. He is highly respected by the citizens for his knowledge, experience and uncanny ability to catch the criminals. His speech will be called “Fallbrook Local Street Gang Awareness.”

Lt. Derek Clark, supervisor for the North County Regional Gang Task Force, will be speaking on “Local Street Gang Trends.”

Andriana Uribe, Crime Stoppers’ coordinator, will be speaking on the “Latest Updates for Crime Stoppers.”

Please make attending this meeting, like 350 people did last time, a top priority because we are bringing positive results for our community, through your voice and participation, in crime prevention. Be assured, your time spent at these meetings is fruitful for yourself and our communities in decreasing crime.

Help us pack the auditorium this time with 400 to 450 people – bring friends with you! It takes us one step closer to the gang injunction.

Thanks for your time and support.
