In response to Ann Harter’s letter, the mural would not be better “toned down.” You say you do not like to see “Fallbrook depicted in any part as…‘crass’ or ‘cheaply garish.’” Seriously?

This painting hardly belongs within the categories you define. And although you are entitled to your “artistic” opinion, the words you chose are rude and insulting; decorum is obviously not your forte.

Brett Stokes has many murals throughout Fallbrook: all unique, colorful and beautiful… just like Fallbrook!
