Sheriff's Dept. alerts public

Last Monday, the Sheriff’s Department responded to a call from a resident who had someone “come up to their door and stated that they had a service call and were from Direct TV… no IDs visible… no signs on the side of the truck.”

The suspects are described as two white male adults, fairly young in age, both dressed in shorts and grubby t-shirts. One of the subjects was wearing a shirt that said “Temecula” on it. The truck is described as a white pickup, newer model, with a rounded back end and not looking quite like a utility truck. It had an orange ladder on it.

Please advise your neighbors to be on the lookout for such activity and to call the Sheriff’s Department’s non-emergency number, (760) 728-1113, immediately if these subjects appear again. Thank you and stay safe.
