OCEANSIDE — MiraCosta College’s Community Services Program is offering a one-day, hands-on workshop created for both new and experienced grant writers.

“Fundamentals of Grant Writing” will introduce students to the relevant information needed to design a successful grant proposal. Students will also learn how funding is announced, how applications are judged and how to construct each element of a winning proposal.

The class will meet Saturday, November 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in room 3516 at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside.
