MiraCosta to host bamboo sale, auction

OCEANSIDE — MiraCosta College’s horticulture department is hosting a fall bamboo sale for collectors, growers and enthusiasts. Presented by the American Bamboo Society, Southern California Chapter, the event will also include a bamboo auction.

The sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, and will be held in parking lot 3E at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside.

The auction begins at 10:30 a.m. and the sale will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The MiraCosta Horticulture Department will also be open for plant sales. There also will be an information table for those interested in enrolling in the horticulture program at MiraCosta.
