Heyneman is our choice for FCPG

About 15 years ago we moved to Fallbrook and wanted to become involved in this unincorporated, charming town. Before long, we became familiar with the workings of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy.

Among the many fine folks we became acquainted with was Jackie Heyneman. We were impressed with her fervor, energy and knowledge of what needed to be done to preserve the town’s precious ambience. Her energy and leadership saw to it that trees were planted and cared for, making the barren areas more lush and green.

She was highly instrumental in producing a video, “A Necklace of Leaves,” documenting how a town with little outside help could join together to enhance its environment. This video has been on San Diego television and shown to many other likeminded organizations.

She has been dubbed, fondly, “Mother Treesa.” In addition to her activities with Save Our Forest, an arm of the FLC, she has participated in several other civic organizations and has been a constant presence at the Fallbrook Community Planning Group, listening and commenting. She knows the concerns of the community and what is best for conserving the character of Fallbrook. Her leadership is vitally needed on the Fallbrook Planning Group and we highly endorse her candidacy.
