Mondays celebrate 40th wedding anniversary

FALLBROOK — Jon and Anna Monday are set to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on November 6.

The couple started dating in high school in Northern California and was married three years later. After Jon retired from a high-tech career in Silicon Valley, they moved to Fallbrook four years ago and became active in the Fallbrook Democratic Club, where Jon is currently president and Anna maintains their Web site.

Shortly after their wedding, they joined and have ever since maintained an active membership in Vedanta as their religious affiliation, which has centers throughout the US, including San Diego and Trabuco Canyon in Orange County.

Jon and Anna are working partners in mondayMEDIA, a production and distribution company that creates and sells CDs and DVDs of a wide variety of subject matters ranging from international music to political documentaries to spiritual lectures.

Earlier this year, their daughter Rachel and her husband Will presented Jon and Anna with their first grandchild, Beatrix (Bebe for short).
