Oops! Thar she blows!

At a Sullivan Middle School varsity football game on October 14 versus Valley Center Middle School, a visitor inadvertently backed their sport utility vehicle into a nearby fire hydrant. The result was a geyser that shot some 50 feet into the air. Determined gridiron players continued the game while water pooled on the sidelines. North County Fire arrived at the scene shortly afterward and shut off the water.
