Fallbrook Outlaws inducted into Hall of Fame

The Fallbrook Outlaws, a Fallbrook-based gunfighter and stunt group, was initiated into the Calico Ghost Town Hall of Fame after the Columbus Day Parade for the group’s reenactment and participation during the Silver Bowl, a chance for several Wild West reenactment groups to compete and perform.

The Fallbrook Outlaws banded together in 1994 after Casey and Mike Antolini left the Temecula Gunfighter group to start their own group of Old West re-enactors in their hometown.

The Fallbrook Outlaws began their performances at the Fallbrook Avocado Festival in 1994 and have since performed during the Fallbrook Christmas Parade and at Fallbrook High, FFA fundraisers, the Moose Lodge and the Boys & Girls Club.

Although members of the Fallbrook Outlaws participate in the group for the fun and the love of their favorite hobby, reenacting life in the 1890s’ “Wild West,” the endeavors of the group are usually done at the group members’ own expenses.

The group has helped to raise money for schools, historical events and local fundraisers. Adding to their fame, the Fallbrook Outlaws have placed first several times at the Calico Days at the Western skit competitions during the Silver Bowl.

The Fallbrook Outlaws also have a long list of awards, such as first place at the Seventh Annual Gathering of the Gunfighters in Yuma, AZ, and at Dancing Under the Stars, a Lakeside event that works with the burn units of various hospitals in San Diego County.

Many members of the Outlaws have also been recognized and awarded individually for their costuming and acting abilities. They have earned accolades for Best Actors to Best Comedians and Stuntsmen.
