Please attend crime prevention meeting

An informative presentation will be given at the next community crime prevention meeting on October 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church’s auditorium located at 1405 East Fallbrook Street.

Information will be shared to help members of the public identify local gangs, their members and to be knowledgeable of their crimes.

Citizens will have an opportunity to personally meet and hear from dedicated law enforcement experts on gangs, drugs and crime, including Sgt. Joe Montion, Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation; and Lt. Derek Clark, North County Regional Gang Task Force.

They will be speaking on “Fallbrook Local Street Gang Awareness” and “Local Street Gang Trends.”

Andriana Uribe, Crime Stoppers coordinator, will be presenting “Latest Updates for Crime Stoppers.”

Our Sheriff’s Department needs supportive, informed citizens to assist them with the difficult task of combating and maintaining public safety. Learn how you can be eligible to receive a monetary reward, if there is an arrest made on any felony crime.

The voices and participation of 350 people at the last crime prevention meeting are the real heroes of our community. We are trying to secure a Gang Suppression Team which will consist of one Sheriff’s sergeant and six deputies. They would continue to document and monitor gangs and gang activity on our streets and hopefully reduce crime in our neighborhoods.

Help us pack the auditorium. Bring friends!
