Safe Halloween to feature haunted house

“The Ghoulish Gourmet” haunted house will be a new feature at this year’s Safe Halloween event at La Paloma Elementary School on October 31.

HALO™ Leaf of Life, a new company in Fallbrook, will sponsor the attraction.

Pass by the graveyard into a hands-on “interactive” funhouse with heads that “talk,” skeletons that rattle and body parts that “squish.” The “gourmet” table features “Rat-atouille,” “Skeleton Succotash” and a “Brain on a bed of Edible Worms!”

Penny Clark, of the Fallbrook School of the Arts, handmade many of the props and painted backdrops for photo opportunities.

Her husband, Dr. Bill Clark, will be the “KJ,” for the night providing scary, Halloween music and “open mic” karaoke singing to all who “dare to want to sing!”
