Art Association to feature watercolor artist

FALLBROOK — The next general meeting of the Fallbrook Art Association will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 10, at the Hilltop Center, 331 East Elder. The meeting will feature a painting demonstration by Escondido watercolor artist Tom Tiedeman.

Preceding the meeting, there will be an informal “Eat ’n Critique” session from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Participants in the critique are encouraged to bring one or two “paintings in progress” and a snack or box dinner to eat during the session.

Refreshments will be served following the meeting. The meeting and critique session are open to the public at no charge.

Tiedeman is a gifted watercolor artist and instructor. He paints a wide variety of subjects, including wildlife, landscapes, portraits and florals. He has degrees in art and design and has traveled extensively.

Tiedeman will also be conducting a watercolor workshop on Sunday, November 16, at the FPUD building, 990 East Mission Road. For workshop cost and information, call Carol Reardon at (760) 731-6677.
