Golden Hill Ramblers, Cowboy Poet to perform

TEMECULA — Temecula Presents is happy to host the Golden Hill Ramblers along with Cowboy Poet Mick Vernon at the annual “Around Uncle Erle’s Campfire” on Saturday, November 8, at 7 p.m.

Reminiscent of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys and other great Western swing bands of the 1930s and ’40s, the Golden Hill Ramblers put out an authentic, original country sound.

Vernon is the author of “The Lyrical Lawman Rides,” a book of original cowboy poetry (and CD by the same title). He pens poems about his time spent in the saddle working cattle with the Dobbas outfit in the Sierras near Auburn, CA, and about other reflections of western life.

The Old Town Community Theater is located at 42051 Main Street in Temecula. For ticket information, call (866) 653-8696.
