On the road with the Senior Center

FALLBROOK — Trips sponsored by the Fallbrook Senior Center are open to everyone who wants to go with them.

The next trip is to Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage near Palm Springs on November 10. The bus will leave the center at 8 a.m. and leave the casino for home at 3 p.m. They need 47 people for this trip.

A trip to Whiskey Pete’s is planned for December 1-3. The bus will leave the center at 9 a.m., make a rest stop at Barstow at 11 and arrive at the casino around 3 p.m. A favorable price adjustment has been made on this trip because of space availability. Cost has been reduced to $45 for single or $40 for double occupancy with all freebies the same. Deadline on this trip is November l. Anyone interested is asked to sign up ASAP.

Their first holiday trip is to “Traditions of Christmas” in El Cajon on Sunday, December 14. This is a great family opportunity as children are welcome to this show. Lunch is included. They will leave the center at 10:15 a.m. and arrive back there at 5 p.m. Reserved seating is available for 45 people.

Seniors are also invited to a special Halloween Tea Dance on October 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Senior Center. The event will feature the smooth music of Jack Story and his band. There will be prizes for the most original and best costumes. Refreshments will be served.
