Heyneman for Fallbrook Community Planning Group

Several letters in recent editions of the Fallbrook Village news drew attention to Jackie Heyneman’s outstanding qualifications for a seat on the FCPG. In addition to her active involvement in Save Our Forest/Fallbrook Land Conservancy, Live Oak Park Coalition, Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green, etc., we would like to highlight one of her “unofficial” contributions.

Fallbrook Garden Club Volunteers and the Elementary School District are engaged in a project on the La Paloma campus, sponsored in part by a grant from the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, that involves planting and irrigating seven shade trees and over 40 decorative shrubs. Jackie wrote a strong letter of support during the grant application process and was a wonderful technical and hands-on resource during identification, sourcing and planting stages for the trees and shrubs.

Her love of nature, no-nonsense approach and dedication to the preservation of the rural atmosphere in and around Fallbrook would be an outstanding addition to our community planning group. We urge you to vote for Jackie Heyneman on Nov. 4.
