There's more to the story

I read the article in the October 16 Village News about the Killer Pizza from Mars remake with interest. Here is the rest of the story that they didn’t mention: their kind generosity.

Their Oceanside location has been providing pizza for our group meeting in Carlsbad every month for the last three and a half years (that I know of and probably longer). They provide enough to feed our 20 to 25 members free of charge every month.

We are the nonprofit Trauma Intervention Program (TIP). We go out on 9-1-1 calls to assist and comfort the survivors of whatever trauma that happens.

Killer Pizza from Mars has done this totally unheralded or rewarded. They are good people and we hope you will patronize them. They deserve it and that is the rest of the story. You’ll like the pizza, too.

Incidentally, we are always looking for volunteers. We currently have eight Fallbrookians in our group. Please visit our Web site at http://www.tipsandiego.org.
