Vote for Jackie, the 'Tree Lady'

We have known Jackie Heyneman since 1974 and regard her as one of Fallbrook’s leading citizens. We’re pleased that she is running for a seat on the Fallbrook Community Planning Group (FCPG).

She was one of the first leaders of the Save Our Oaks neighbors who prevented the removal of the oak trees along Live Oak Park Road in 1972 and again in 1992. This group of volunteers became Save Our Forest (SOF), which is now a part of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy.

Led by Jackie since its beginning, SOF has maintained the old Cape Chestnut and ficus trees on Main and they have donated, planted and cared for most of the other trees throughout the village. Their two-thousandth planting thrives at the Fallbrook Historical Society Museum grounds and double that number have been given to our area with the program now involving teachers and students.

We know Jackie will work on the FCPG to keep Fallbrook a great place to live. Please vote for Jackie.
