FUESD employees honored by Rotary

FALLBROOK — Stacey Larson Everson and Elizabeth Araiza were introduced to and honored by the Rotary Club of Fallbrook as FUESD Employees of the Month at a recent Rotary meeting. Club President and FUESD Superintendent Janice Schultz made the introductions.

“Elizabeth began with the district in January of 1991 and in the ensuing years has held positions as classroom assistant, community support services assistant and secretary,” said Schultz.

“Stacey was hired August of 2002 as assistant principal at La Paloma School,” Schultz continued, “and over the years has served the district well as coordinator of special projects and director of special projects. This involves the oversight of categorical monies, the assessment of over 1,800 children and the development of the Choate Center, PAT program, preschool and Ready Set Go, which serves over 500 families per week.”

“These women are an asset to the district and we can all appreciate their ongoing efforts,” Schultz stated.

The Employees of the Month program is an ongoing effort by the Rotary Club of Fallbrook to promote better education, administration and community excellence for the Fallbrook school system. For more information, go to http://www.fallbrookrotary.org.
