Fallbrook Hospital offering flu shot clinic

Fallbrook Hospital is having a flu shot clinic on Saturday, November 8, from 8 to 10 a.m.

The vaccines are available for people ages 9 and up and are recommended for those who are at high risk of getting the flu. Those groups include adults age 50 and older, people with chronic medical problems such as heart disease and asthma, women who are pregnant and caregivers and healthcare workers who work directly with patients.

There is no charge for the vaccine, which will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

The preservative-free vaccine which is now required for pregnant women and vaccines for children under the age of 9 will not be offered.

Fallbrook Hospital is located at 624 East Elder Street.
