On October 16, I went to a local pharmacy and presented a prescription written by our family physician, Dr. Reynolds. The young lady looked at it and advised me it could not be filled “because Dr. Reynolds is retired”!
I advised her, “That is a malicious rumor going around town.”
A regular customer had told them she had gone to the medical group with which Dr. Reynolds was previously associated to make an appointment. She was told that Dr. Reynolds was no longer there.
When Dr. Reynolds changed locations, I too asked for records under my name and those under the name of my husband. I was told we could not obtain the records until $25 was paid. I wrote them a check for $50, then waited three weeks for their arrival. After reviewing the records with Dr. Reynolds, they were found to be incomplete.
It is beyond my comprehension to understand what would drive a medical group to give out potentially damaging misinformation about a former member of their staff.
Dr. Reynolds is an experienced doctor in the fields of internal and pulmonary medicine. He is a caring, compassionate doctor and a gentleman who is genuinely interested in the health and wellbeing of each of his patients.
Dr. Reynolds is presently (but only temporarily) located in the Fallbrook Health Center on Brandon Street. He will return to his office at 407 Potter Street, Suite G, as soon as upgrades ordered by the fire marshal are completed.
