Interact students back from symposium

John Hansen, Kassie Butterworth and Tiffany Beye, Fallbrook High School students and members of the school’s Interact service club, attended this year’s Interact Symposium in Idyllwild, where they learned how to encourage, organize and effectively participate in an Interact Club.

Interact is a world organization associated with Rotary International for high school students. It boasts well over a million students worldwide.

Dick Goodlake, youth director for the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, and wife Beth were instructors at the symposium.

Hansen, a junior, will be the 2009 Interact president. Butterworth and Beye are freshmen.
