Teachers, parents and students in the Iowa Street School Home Education program participate in the
FALLBROOK — On October 31, Iowa Street School Home Education program celebrated Oktoberfest in the park with hot dogs, root beer, Bavarian folksongs and the “Chicken Dance.”
Following the outdoor festivities families enjoyed a rousing German rollercoaster ride (via PowerPoint!) along with an introduction to the history and culture of Germany. Art projects, a mini German language lesson and hands-on activities rounded out the day of fun.
