Toombs fundraiser set for Nov. 15

On Saturday, November 15, the Fallbrook Pop Warner family will be having a garage sale, bake sale and outdoor movie at Fallbrook High School’s Warrior Stadium.

Starting at 2 p.m., the event will raise money to assist Coach Rick Toombs’ family with medical expenses incurred from his wife’s present medical condition.

Three weeks ago, Tamae Toombs suffered a massive heart attack; she remains in a coma.

There will be entertainment and fun booths provided by other teams. The Red and White Bowl Game will be played at 4:30 p.m. followed by the showing of the movie “Facing the Giants.”

All proceeds will be donated to the Toombs family to help defray medical costs.
