'Trustworthy' Students of Month honored

Trustworthiness was the theme for four Potter Junior High School Students (PJHS) of the Month at a recent Rotary Club of Fallbrook meeting.

Introducing the students was PJHS Principal Dr. Tere Peterson; commendation certificates were given to each by Rotary President Janice Schultz, also superintendent of the Fallbrook Unified Elementary School District.

Being recognized were seventh-graders Jacky Zepeda and Alfonso Alcantar and eighth-graders Nicole Myers and Cameron Keith.

Dr. Peterson read glowing teacher comments as each student was introduced. Honorees’ parents and siblings were also in attendance.

The recognition is part of the ongoing mission of the Rotary to reward outstanding student achievement in Fallbrook schools. For more information, visit
