GANAS program looking for new mentors

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook GANAS (Guide, Advise, Nurture and Support) program, which seeks to provide a positive influence on local youth ages 9 to 14, is currently seeking new mentors (volunteers) to help expand the program.
Trained staff members provide activities which encourage at-risk children to develop leadership skills by offering them constructive alternatives and positive life choices.
Currently, programs take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Learning Center at Fallbrook View Apartments at 901 Alturas Road and on Wednesdays at Turnagain Arms Apartments at 920 East M...
