Retired teachers prepare scholarship applications

FALLBROOK — California Retired Teachers North County Scholarship Foundation Palomar Division 63, North San Diego County Division 45 and Avocado Division 81 join together in an effort to provide scholarships for deserving future teachers graduating from North San Diego County high schools.

Members of the Scholarship Selection Committee receive applications and award scholarships to deserving students.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, scholastic record, community services, work experience and letters of recommendation. Applications will be available at all North San Diego County high schools in February.
