FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Woman’s Club is sponsoring the fourth annual Rockin’ with Santa party for children of Camp Pendleton Marines.
Forty-five students from the fourth and fifth grades at Mary Faye Pendleton Middle School have been invited to participate in the event.
These children are part of “Operation Hero” program at Camp Pendleton. Their parents are either deployed or have been injured in combat.
The party will be held at the school on Wednesday, December 3, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The children received a flier with a wish list for presents they would like to receive and Santa will make an appearance to distribute the gifts.
Presents will also be provided for moms and dads. The children will have an opportunity to pick out the gifts for their parents, wrap them and take them home. Santa’s helpers from the Fallbrook Woman’s Club will be on hand to assist.
Again this year, FedEx will provide the pizza party and each child will receive a Christmas mug filled with ingredients to make “Snowman Soup,” made by members of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club.
Magician Michael Johnson, well known for his performances throughout San Diego County, will be on hand to work his magic for the children.
For organizations, or individuals, who would like to contribute to the event, checks should be made payable to Fallbrook Woman’s Club and marked “Teen Party.”
The Fallbrook Woman’s Club is a charitable, nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
