Locals help women dress for success

BONSALL — At its November meeting the Bonsall Woman’s Club (BWC) held its third Dress for Success drive to provide career-appropriate clothing to help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs.

The three BWC drives have collected more than 150 quality items of ready-to-wear, current-style skirts, suits, dresses, pants suits, blouses and purses.

The club’s project is in support of Dress for Success San Diego, an organization which attempts to help low-income women in local communities who are actively seeking employment and economic self-sufficiency to acquire jobs, find success in the mainstream workplace and build a better future for their children and families.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs, of which BWC is a member, supports the Dress for Success program nationwide as part of its commitment to help disadvantaged women take charge of their lives.
