Angels donate to projects, plan for holiday sale

Angel board member Jennifer Anderson models a 100-percent red wool Evan Picone coat she purchased at the Angel Shop for a trip and is now donating the coat back to be sold again.
FALLBROOK — Last month, the Angel Society made donations totaling $13,700 to:
• Santa’s Toy Project ($5,000), which, in conjunction with YMCA Camp Pendleton, focuses on the needs of families of lower-level military persons.
• Fallbrook Family Support League ($1,500), which serves all local schools, including counseling for families.
• Fallbrook Garden Club and La Paloma Elementary School ($900), which work together in the after-school garden program for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students and those students with special needs.
