Soroptimists seek applicants for Violet Richardson Award

FALLBROOK — Soroptimist International of Fallbrook sponsors the Violet Richardson Award annually and is now seeking nominees of young women between the ages of 14 and 17 who volunteer in their community and/or school.

The award recognizes young women who make the world a better place through their volunteer efforts. A cash grant of $250 will be awarded, in honor of the winner, to their volunteer organization.

Applicants may be nominated by submitting an application to Fallbrook Soroptimist by December 31. Applications are available at People to People, Chamber of Commerce and North County Times.
