Theatre production was excellent

It was my privilege to participate in the production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the Mission Theatre for the past few weeks.

Our community is so privileged to have the Hornsveld family (who own and have refurbished the Mission Theatre) and the CAST (Children’s Acting School and Theatre) as a cultural resource for both children and adults.

In particular, I am compelled to commend Jennifer Hornsveld, who directed the pageant production. As I observed her in action over several weeks, her character was always commendable.

She treated everyone with the same personal respect, from the littlest “angel,” to the rambunctious teenager, to the doting parent. Her demeanor was admirable, never expressing any impatience or becoming frenzied in the midst of directing a cast full of children.

Good job, Jenn. We appreciate your dedication and hard work.
