Apostolic Assembly hosts first Angel Tree dinner

FALLBROOK — On December 7, the Fallbrook Apostolic Assembly hosted 10 families with children ages 1 month to 17 years who have a parent in prison.

While they had an Italian dinner the children were entertained with Christmas carols from the worship team, a Christmas skit by the Alpha and Omega Academy and an interpretive dance by Alvaro Navarro.

Church volunteers signed up to give each child a toy and an article of clothing on behalf of their parent in order to let them know that they are not alone on Christmas and that even though their parents are not with them, they are thinking of their children.

The guardians of the children were also shown that there are members of the Fallbrook community who are able to help them in their difficult situations.

The Apostolic Assembly is also preparing to host several more families during Christmas banquets through the end of the year.
