FALLBROOK — The 10th annual Fallbrook Baseball Club golf tournament will be held January 19 at Vista Valley Country Club.
Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. and a putting contest about 11, preceding the noon shotgun start.
Following the tournament this year, dinner will include a “baseball cut” sirloin steak, garlic mashed potatoes, bordelaise sauce and an ice cream sundae.
The evening will include a raffle, silent auction and live auction as well as an awards presentation, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Fallbrook Baseball Club, which raises money for the Fallbrook High School varsity, junior varsity and freshman baseball teams.
The cost for the tournament is $150, which includes a golfer’s goodie bag with a t-shirt and cap, 18 holes of golf, cart rental and dinner.
The golf tournament consists of a scramble format with four-player teams. In addition to the putting contest, the tournament will also have contests for the longest drive and ball closest to the pin.
The Fallbrook Baseball Club is also seeking donations from the community for the raffle and auctions. Tee sponsorships are available.
