FALLBROOK- The Fallbrook Encore Club hosted their annual Holiday Ball as a combined club function with the Newcomers Club on December 18 at the Grand Tradition. One hundred and twenty guests decked out in their finest holiday garb to enjoy fine dining followed by dancing to the tunes of the 50s and 60s. Disc jockey Corey Carrier kept the music lively for an enthusiastic crowd.
Table decorations, consisting of specially wrapped gift boxes filled with cookies baked by club members, were designed by Sandy Becker with the help of Beverly Steres, Marla Clemens, Marilyn Clyde, Garnet Baas and Jeanne Cusimano. Chairman Margaret Muller raffled off the gift boxes to attendees.
Encore will resume its regular schedule of activities beginning with the monthly coffee, January 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fallbrook Public Utility District. Residents of Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow are invited to attend. Anyone interested in membership, contact Lucy Dickson at (760) 723-5884.
