Guardian angel donates $20,000 to Child Development Center

FALLBROOK- Board member Nicole Becker invited long time friend, Ralph Scriba, to tour Fallbrook Child Development Center and see the “little jewel” that had become her passion.

“When Ralph and the Scriba family donated $20,000 for indoor furnishings and outdoor play equipment, you could have knocked me over with a feather,” exclaimed Becker.

The center serves up to 48 children from low income families whose parents are either working or in school. The staff provides a caring, challenging and fun learning environment that meets each child’s changing needs in preparation for kindergarten.

The center is partially funded by the State Department of Social Services. A critical part of their funding is provided by donations from individuals, organizations and corporations. To learn more about the center, call (760) 728-5402.
