Sylvia is survived by her children Don, Kathryn, Gina and Tamara and their families as well as seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sister Jimi and Anna and her cousin Roberta.

Sylvia was a resident of Fallbrook for some 25 years, and was well known throughout the community as a grade school teacher, touching the lives of thousands of grade school children with her gift of intense creativity and easygoing classroom dignity, as well as her unique and intuitive sensitivity to learning disabilities.

She was a devoted member of the Fallbrook Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she was counted by many as a beloved friend and wise sister with faithfulness and sincerity.

She was a loving and patient mother who gave all of her children not only the gift of life but also the blessing of knowing how to truly love.

She enjoyed playing cards quite often with her dearest friends, among them Kathryn Rendon, Betsy Weinz and Avice Hillyer.

Her family and friends will all deeply miss her.
