'Pump Boys and Dinettes' at Moonlight's Avo

VISTA — The country music revue “Pump Boys and Dinettes” will be presented by Moonlight Stage Productions at the Avo Playhouse, 303 Main Street in downtown Vista, January 29 through February 22.

Performances of the Tony Award-nominated show run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. (no matinee performance Feb. 21).

Tickets are on sale at the VisTix ticket office at 600 Eucalyptus Avenue and can also be purchased by phone at (760) 724-2110 or online at http://www.vistixonline.com.

Director/choreographer David Brannen returns to the Avo after his success as co-director of last winter season’s “Route 66.” Audiences will be taken a bit farther east for the locale of “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” which takes place in Grand Ol’ Opry Country. That’s where four gas station guys join the waitresses from the Double Cupp Diner to serve up a slice of Americana through song, dance and good times.
