Can you help the less fortunate?

OCEANSIDE — Women’s Resource Center is in need of volunteers to provide the following services: crisis intervention hotline, SART/DVRT advocates, transitional housing, shelter assistance and direct services.

A 69.25-hour State of California Office of Emergency Services certification training session is required. The training will be offered February 3 to March 7, every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Training topics include: crisis intervention, sexual assault, domestic violence, homelessness, incest and adults molested as children, drugs and alcohol, victims’ rights, depression and suicide.
