Bates watercolors on exhibit at gallery

FALLBROOK — The fine art watercolors of Fallbrook artist Jim Bates are on exhibition through February 2 at the Brandon Gallery. Bates is a guest artist.

He will be greeting the public in the gallery January 17 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Along with paintings now on display, additional new work will be exhibited for sale on January 17.

Bates studied art and graphic design at The Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, then worked in advertising for 30 years. He was the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce 2006 Artist of the Year.
