'Wild Swans' topic of February Book Talk

The Friends of the Fallbrook Library’s next Book Talk will be held Thursday, February 12. The selection is “Wild Swans” by Jung Chang.

It is the evocative, unsettling and gripping story of how three generations of women in Chang’s family fared in the political maelstrom of China during the 20th century.

The discussion will be led by Rachel Wegner.

Book Talk meets the second Thursday of each month (September through June) from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the FPUD community room.

The selection for March is “The Whistling Season” by Ivan Doig.

For April, the 2009 Community Read selection is “Men to Match My Mountains” by Irving Stone.
