Ideas sought for county's aging program

The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency’s Aging & Independence Services (AIS) wants to hear from seniors and others in the community about programs to serve older adults throughout the county.

As required by the Older Americans Act, AIS establishes goals every four years and develops an area plan. Public hearings are scheduled in different regions of the county.

The dates and locations closest to Fallbrook are January 21 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Oceanside Senior Center, 455 Country Club Lane, Oceanside, and February 10 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at San Marcos Senior Center, 111 Richmar Avenue, San Marcos.

Written testimony will also be accepted.
