Cheerleaders reach out to fellow student, community

The cheerleaders from Fallbrook High School organized a benefit raffle to raise funds for FHS football player Jacob Robinson, who was severely injured in a car accident this past fall.

Many of the girls have known Jacob for years and were happy to help their friend in any way they could.

All three squads helped to raise a grand total of $360 to assist the Robinson family with Jacob’s mounting medical bills.

The program also adopted seven families throughout Fallbrook for Christmas. Megan Estrada, FHS Cheer advisor, said, “The girls thank Albertsons for their generous donation of the turkeys and hams for the families.”

Besides Christmas dinner, the girls also provided gifts and decorations for the families and had them delivered the day before Christmas Eve.
