Pet spa day to raise money for Zoofari

FALLBROOK — Kim and Mindy’s Paradise Pet Spa is holding a fundraiser for the Zoofari Foundation. Zoofari is a nonprofit organization that rescues and houses unwanted and confiscated wildlife animals.

Kim and Mindy encourage everyone to bring their dogs and cats on Sunday, January 25, for a day at the spa.

The cost is $25, which includes a wash, dry and brush. One hundred percent of the profits will go to help take care of all the animals in need at Zoofari. Fifty percent of the merchandise sold will also be donated.

The pet spa will be open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. but Kim and Mindy are willing to stay longer if they need to. Those who do not have a dog or a cat to wash can come and make a donation. Gift cards from Home Depot, Lowe’s, Staples and more are a great way to help.

Zoofari has many kinds of exotic animals at their facility and they provide expert care, which can cost a lot of money. Zoofari also helps to support conservation around the world to help endangered species. They also have programs for disadvantaged youth.

Zoofari is in need of extra funding and any little bit will help. The money they receive will not only go toward helping the animals they love at Zoofari but will also help animals around the world.

Zoofari also needs animal supplies and outdoor supplies; anyone who would like to donate those items may call ahead of time and then drop them off Sunday.

Kim and Mindy would like to raise as much money as possible so they can help these animals and the animals around the world.

There will also be an animal ambassador there for people to visit with while they wait for their pet.

Kim and Mindy’s Paradise Pet Spa is located at 218 West Fig Street; they can be reached at (760) 723-2273.
